During the sold-out Night Market, which was one of the highlights of the recent culinary festival Feast Portland, the parking lot of Northwest Portland’s Ecotrust Building was transformed into a global street market celebrating the spirit of the nighttime food markets of Southeast Asia.
Feast’s Night Market not only highlighted the cuisine of many local Portland chefs, but also brought in some popular chefs from around the country and overseas.
“It’s fun seeing some familiar faces and also to see all these other out-of-town guys I read about like Eddie Huang of Baohaus from New York,” said Brannon Riceci, co-owner of Portland’s Boke Bowl.
Lines formed in front of popular booths as many people sampled a variety of great street food and drinks.
