Robert Sarazin Blake has been doing some hard travelin.’
The Bellingham, Washington-based singer-songwriter is a troubadour in the truest sense of the term, fostering a career over the past 15 years that’s seen him log thousands of miles while playing every proverbial nook and cranny around on both sides of the Atlantic. The subjects of his songs often come directly from those travels, but occasionally he finds inspiration closer to home. “Death Comes” is a moving tribute of sorts to his grandfather, a personal reflection that carries a weight to which we can all relate.
On the Tracks is opbmusic’s new video series focused on songwriters, giving you a chance to hear a bit of the story behind each song and see the song performed on the old tracks behind OPB.
