Some of Portland’s most vibrant theater productions are coming out of a little building on Northeast Prescott. Five years ago, Portland Playhouse founders Brian and Nikki Weaver found a home for their fledgling theater in a King neighborhood church. Since then, they've developed a reputation as a theater that's grounded in its community and willing to take on challenging, contemporary works.
