"Altars To The Unknown" At Nisus Gallery
8371 N Interstate, Studio 1
April 5-28, 2013
Nisus Gallery presents "Altars To The Unknown," a solo exhibition and installation of new work by Eric Trine. Trine navigates between art, craft and design, but often immediately asks himself, "Is this art, furniture or sculpture?" "Altars To The Unknown" is an exercise in the "practice of being present" and an exploration of the relationships between physical objects and their assigned meanings.
The show runs from April 5th to the 28th and the opening reception will be on Saturday April 13th from 6-9 p.m. The reception will coincide with Michael Velliquette’s opening in the Vestibule, and "Space is the Place" will also be on view at Disjecta.
