Indigenous Elements: the Life & Art of Apolonia Susana Santos is the featured exhibition for The Museum At Warm Springs 20th Anniversary Celebration. Though small in stature, Apolonia (1954-2006) stood large in life as she painted, sculpted and created strategies toward social change for Native Youth. She fought diligently to protect the traditional fishing and sovereignty rights of her People. Apolonia was an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
The exhibition is open June 27 - September 15, 2013.
