The World Voices Series brings intriguing offerings from a diversity of musicians, speakers and other artists that embody global performance traditions to Marylhurst University.
The Al-Andalus Ensemble, led by oudist Tarik Banzi, is internationally known for its creative merging of classical, jazz and contemporary music with the musical traditions from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. Expect not only incredible melodies and vocals, but also inspired flamenco dancing in this evening of eclectic entertainment.
