Did you love Oregon Field Guide's recent "River of the Rogues" special as much as we did? Join producer Pat Kruis and videographer Nick Fisher for a special online screening and live chat, February 20 at 6 pm!
OPB has a rich history of being on the forefront of media technologies. From the first radio broadcast in 1922 – cutting edge at the time – to the launch of our iPAD magazine late last year, OPB is always looking for new ways to better tell stories and connect with our audiences. With this in mind, OPB is excited to introduce you to OVEE: the Online Video Engagement Experience. OVEE is a new social screening platform for watching local public television programs together, from anywhere, on demand. Simply put: OVEE let's you gather online to chat with others who love OPB's programming as much as you! OPB is participating in a 6 month beta test of OVEE, which is officially scheduled to launch fall of 2013, and we'd love you to join us in testing this new technology.
On tonight's "River of the Rogues" OVEE screening, we'll be re-watching the episode while Pat and Nick give us a behind-the-scenes look at making a Field Guide episode. Come prepared with your questions, stories of your time on the Rogue or just with an open mind to learn more! You can log on to the OVEE screening here: https://ovee.itvs.org/screenings/4ycug
