Join Kickass OR History, Nestucca Spit Press and Know Your City as they partner to host a birthday party in honor of the late former Governor Tom McCall. The evening will feature multimedia presentations in tribute to the life, times and legacy of the Oregon politician – including McCall’s well-known visionary environmental accomplishments, as well as some of his political controversies – such as his role in the Vortex Festival, a state-sponsored rock festival modeled after Woodstock and Altamont.
