A longtime journalist, Lisa Morrison began writing about craft beer in 1997, back when it was still called "microbrew." She is the author of Craft Beers of the Pacific Northwest: A Beer-Lover's Guide to Oregon, Washington and British Columbia and has contributed to other international beer books, including 1001 Beers to Taste Before You Die and The Pocket Beer Book 2014.
Lisa also is a regular columnist for the nationally distributed publications Beer Advocate and Celebrator Beer News and is the first and only female contributor to “Beer Talk” in the national magazine All About Beer. She is host of the weekly radio show, Beer O'Clock, heard on radio stations across Oregon and parts of Washington.
As co-owner of Belmont Station, a beer store and taproom in Portland, Lisa enjoys sharing her passion for beer with others, whether it's sampling new brews to customers or just chatting with a patron over a pint.
