The federal government has set up a special coupon program to make digital converter boxes affordable for everyone so you can continue to receive free television from OPB and other local stations after the switch.
Every household can request up to two $40 coupons to be used toward the purchase of digital converter boxes -- making the cost as low as $10 per box.
There are a limited number of coupons available. To request your coupon, call 1.888.388.2009 or go to www.dtv2009.gov. Coupons are good for 90 days from the date issued.
