"CITIZEN KURCHATOV: STALIN'S BOMB MAKER" examines the personal story of Soviet citizen Igor Kurchatov, as well as his role in the development of the atomic bomb in the Soviet Union after World War II. This program looks at how the issues of patriotism and national pride, as well as of totalitarianism and terror, became increasingly prominent during the Soviet Union's transformation to a Communist superpower.
