Brion McGinn is a mathematics merchandising manager for ETA/Cuisenaire, where he has also worked for a number of years as an editor of math, science, and reading/language arts material. He has taught English and continues to teach creative writing classes at the Discovery Center in Chicago. Among his publication credits are two sets of lessons for PBS’s TeacherSource web site as well as various poems in Ohio Teachers Write and in the online journal Electric Soup. He enjoys martial arts, rock climbing, and fiction writing, and even now continues work on his first novel.
Florence McGinn is the recipient of the United States National Technology and Learning Teacher of the Year 1998 award, and she has been honored as Princeton University’s Distinguished Secondary School Educator. Mrs. McGinn is on the boards of SchoolTone Alliance, Mediatech Foundation, and the GKE Foundation. She is presently appointed to advisory boards with SchoolTone Alliance and Technology and Learning magazine. Mrs. McGinn’s poetry book BLOOD TRAIL is published in the United States. She holds an appointment as Off-Campus Poetry Professor to Dianye School in Beijing, China. CD-ROMs featuring Mrs. McGinn’s poetry and award-winning, educational methodologies are published in China by Centrix Technology, Nankai University, and GKE.
