CANNON BEACH — The public is being asked to help a Cannon Beach gallery trace some missing art.

Six miniatures by five artists apparently went missing from the Cannon Beach Gallery at 1064 Hemlock St. during the Thanksgiving holiday. They are believed to have been taken from the gallery, which shares space with another business at the location.

Andrea Mace, executive director of the Cannon Beach Arts Association, is hoping the public can help.

“It is very unfortunate, but we may have to take other security measures in future,” she said.

The missing mixed media pieces are all 6 inches by 6 inches. There were created by five artists, Zemula Fleming, Christopher Kellher, Holly A. Hughes, Airri Foote and Peter Greaver.

If anyone has any information about the thefts, they are asked contact the Cannon Beach Police Department at 503-436-2811 and refer to case number 12-0586.
