Former Clackamas County elections worker Deanna Swenson pleaded not guilty to ballot-tampering charges in a Clackamas County courtroom Tuesday.
Last month, she was charged with marking ballots while working as a temporary employee at the elections office. Swenson’s attorney Jason Short says the ordeal has been hard on his client.
‘She is hanging in there but this has certainly been difficult for her. Just had a chance to meet her parents, it was nice to see them in support of her.”
Short requested another court appearance. That will take place on January 16th.
