The Oregon Supreme Court is no longer blocking a proposed bond sale by Clackamas County.
A local resident had asked the Supreme Court to stop the county from selling $19 million in bonds that are meant to help fund the Portland-Milwaukie light rail line.
The Supreme Court granted a stay last week, but lifted the stay Wednesday, after receiving written arguments from the resident, the county, and an advocacy group on the county’s side.
The high court is no longer blocking the bond sale, but county officials postponed the sale last week for other reasons, before the court weighed in.
