Crabbers Drop Their Pots

Fishing vessels along the Oregon and southwest Washington coast, loaded to the gills with crab pots and crew members readying their equipment, started dumping their gear in the water at 8 a.m. today for a 64-hour “pre-soak” period to gather the highly coveted crustaceans.
