MIDWAY — A little after midnight Monday morning, Pacific County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched to 177th Lane for a reported structure fire with entrapment.

The structure was fully involved when crews arrived, and Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for mutual aid. A body was recovered once the blaze was put out.

A fire investigation team will be at the site Monday to determine the cause, origin and contributing factors of the fire. Pacific County Fire District No. 1 Chief Jacob Brundage says the fire is not considered suspicious.

More details will be published as they are released.
