Electric car maker Tesla Motors powered ahead with a charging station expansion Thursday.
The Statesman Journal reports that the California-based car company is opening its first Oregon supercharger station in Woodburn.
That should allow travelers to go from Vancouver, British Columbia to Eugene with multiple charges, the company says.
The Woodburn site is part of an expansion that Tesla says will place superchargers in most metropolitan areas by this fall. The company expects to have them across most of the U.S. by 2015.
