An FBI agent says the federal agency and local law enforcement agencies in the Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash., area have pulled three juveniles out of prostitution. The recent operation also arrested six people accused of promoting prostitution.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Greg Fowler said Monday in Portland that the weekend sweep was part of a national enforcement action.

Fowler says law enforcement and social service agencies are working with each young victim to provide counseling, mental health services, medical help, housing and other resources.
