Belize is making its first appearance in a major international tournament and the U.S. is returning to the Rose City for the third time. The game is the second half of a doubleheader, which begins with Costa Rica against Cuba.

The U.S. roster includes soccer stars like Landon Donovan, Clarence Goodson, and Oguchi Onyewu. In the last Gold Cup tournament, the U.S. lost the final to Mexico 4-2.

The Gold Cup happens every two years.  It includes teams from North and Central America.  Next year brings the World Cup tournament in Brazil.
