Independent Party Of Oregon Sets Primary Dates

The nominating process opened Monday for the Independent Party of Oregon. The party will hold its Primary Election June 19 to July 17. During that period, registered members of the party will be able to obtain an official ballot at the Independent Party website.

Sal Peralta is the Secretary of the Independent Party of Oregon. “We are optimistic over time that we will be able to continue to build a coalition of legislators who will work in service of the public interest and address the issues that our members care about.”

Candidates interested in competing in the Independent Party 2012 Primary Election must complete their applications by June 1 for early review or June 14 for final review.

The Independent Party has 75,000 members in the state.
