A civil jury awarded the family of Lukus Glenn$2.5 million in damages Thursday. As Kristian Foden-Vencil reports, the 18-year-old was shot by Washington County deputies after his parents called for help.

Six years ago, Hope Glenn called 9-1-1 to say her son was drunk, armed with a pocketknife and threatening suicide.
Police found him outside the family home with a knife against his neck.
When he didn't respond to commands, they shot him with beanbag rounds.
Then, Washington County Deputies Mikhail Gerba and Timothy Mateski opened fire with bullets, thinking that Glenn was moving toward the house where his parents were. Sergeant Bob Ray says officers were cleared of criminal charges in 2006.
"This has been a very difficult ordeal for the family of Lukus Glenn and for our deputies and their families as well. A decision will be made on an appeal at a later date," Ray says.
Larry Peterson, the Glenn family attorney, told jurors police used a "false narrative" to try to disguise an unreasonable shooting.
Washington County's attorney, William Blair, said the shooting was tragic but reasonable.
