Myrlie Evers-Williams, who gave the invocation at President Barack Obama's inauguration last week, has sold her home in Bend.
Evers-Williams moved there in 1989 with her second husband, Walter Williams, a labor and civil rights activist. He died in 1995.
Her first husband was Medgar Evers, a civil rights leader killed in 1963 by a white supremacist.
The Bend Bulletin reports that Evers-Williams is spending time with children and grandchildren in California and Mississippi, home of Alcorn State University where she met Evers and now is a distinguished scholar-in-residence. She is 79.
The Bulletin reported she signed the sale documents and handed over keys last week.
