Firms Brace For Possible Retaliatory Cyberattacks From Syria

The prospect of a military strike against Syria has American firms worried that they could be hit by cyber attacks in retaliation. Both Syria, through the pro-Assad Syrian Electronic Army, and Iran have demonstrated cyber attack capabilities. Cybersecurity consultants say their phones are ringing off the hooks, with U.S. firms fearing that if it comes to war with Syria, they could find themselves on the front lines.
