First Malaria Vaccine Moves A Step Closer To Approval

There’s new information on a vaccine against one of the world’s biggest health problems — malaria. It’s the only malaria vaccine in large-scale human trials. It cuts the number of cases in children by half. And the effect persists for as long as a year and a half. But it’s still not clear how the vaccine would be used.
