Japanese Voters Return Conservatives To Power

Japanese conservatives returned to power in a landslide election victory over the weekend. The Liberal Democratic Party, the LDP, ruled Japan for most of the post-World War II era until it was dumped in 2009. Shinzo Abe will become Japan’s prime minister for the second time, and he’s pledged to take a harder line on China.
