Militant Group In Iraq Proves It's Learned From Al Qaida's Mistakes

This week ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, changed its name to the Islamic State. And, it declared that the territory it controlled was now a caliphate. The move is just one of the things that distinguishes the group from its predecessor, al Qaida in Iraq. The group has been so strategic in who it attacks and the announcements it has made, that analysts say it has clearly learned from past mistakes.
