Obama's Pressure Fails To Get Gun Measure Passed

President Obama delivered a scathing speech from the Rose Garden late Wednesday, in which he excoriated the Senate for failing to pass gun control legislation that would have required more thorough background checks for buyers of certain firearms. NPR’s Ari Shapiro reports about the president’s angry words, aimed at both Congress and the National Rifle Association.
