An Oregon-based advertising company really likes Facebook. The social media giant unveiled Thursday a first-ever advertising campaign that was created by Portland firm Wieden + Kennedy . The company will also serve as Facebook's chief advertising agency.
The partnership debuted with a 90 second video comparing Facebook to everyday objects in peoples' lives.
Voice on ad: "Chairs are for people. And that is why chairs are like Facebook."
Wieden + Kennedy Creative Director Karl Lieberman tells Ad Age magazine that the firm worked with Facebook for months to craft the campaign.
Wieden + Kennedy is perhaps best known for developing the "Just Do It" slogan for Nike.
