State Senator Accused Of Trying To Buy A Spot In New York City Mayoral Race

A New York state senator was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly trying to bribe his way into the New York city mayor’s race. Malcolm Smith allegedly plotted with five others to fix his entry into the race as the Republican nominee to succeed Michael Bloomberg.
