The Oregon Zoo has 21 new flamingos from a zoo in San Antonio, Texas. The birds will go on display next month.

Their new home will be in the Africa Rainforest aviary, which has been closed for remodeling since November.

According to a news release, the “lesser flamingo” is almost 3 feet tall and weighs between three and six pounds.

The San Antonio Zoo is phasing out its flamingo program.

Oregon Zoo officials plan to breed the birds, but for the time being, all of the flamingos are male.
