Portland Community College has agreed to a three-year contract with its new president.

Jeremy Brown will replace Preston Pulliams — who is retiring after being PCC president since 2004.

Between salary and three kinds of allowances, Brown will earn $267,000 dollars in his first year as president.

When Brown was a finalist for the PCC job, he accepted the position of interim president at the State University of New York in Canton. But upon being offered the permanent presidency at PCC, he left SUNY, Canton.
