We don’t know if any of the insurance plans available on the Oregon exchange will cover too much time on the hot seat, but it was another grilling for the head of Cover Oregon in Salem this week.

Republican State Representative Kim Thatcher asked the pointed question.  “How many people at Cover Oregon have been fired or otherwise held accountable for their bungling?”

Acting Director Bruce Goldberg says nobody has been fired over the troubled rollout of the state’s health insurance exchange, but the glitches are getting fixed.

Meanwhile, national Republicans are trying to find a way to challenge Oregon’s method of providing insurance for its residents.

And state officials are talking about bridges and booze.

A toast to our political guys as they join us again to chat about the week’s political developments.  Bill Lunch is OPB’s Political Analyst.   Jeff Mapes is the senior political reporter for The Oregonian. Click the audio above to hear the conversation.
