Portland police have turned to the public for help tracking down a bank robber they've dubbed the "Hipster Bandit."
They've released a surveillance camera photo of the man, who on Friday afternoon robbed Albina Community Bank on Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Police say the man is about 5-foot-7, thin, in his early 30s, with large glasses and an over-the-shoulder bag, and he "looked like a hipster."
Bank employees told police that the man entered the building and presented a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the man fled the area of the bank on foot.
Officers searched the neighborhood but did not find anyone matching the description.
