Snow fell in parts of the Portland area and Willamette Valley early Sunday and freezing rain is predicted later in the day.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Portland/Vancouver Metro Areas and for the Central and Southern Willamette Valley and the Central section of the Columbia River Gorge through 10 a.m. Monday.
Multiple crashes throughout the area were reported by early morning. Locations included Interstate 84 near Southeast 162nd Avenue, Interstate 205 at Southeast Powell Boulevard, U.S. 26 two miles east of Interstate 405, and Interstate 5 near Lower Boones Ferry Road.
Some TriMet buses are on snow routes, included lines 8, 15, 20, 23 and 78.
