Search-and-rescue teams are on Mount Hood this afternoon, helping an injured climber.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says Robert Finke of Gladstone suffered a broken leg this morning after falling 100 to 200 feet over the crest of Hogsback.

Rescuers plan to put Finke in a toboggan to move him down the mountain.  They expect him to arrive at Timberline Lodge sometime between 5 and 6 this evening.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and OPB contributed to this report.
