The Clackamas County sheriff’s office is searching for two West Linn Boy Scouts overdue since Saturday on a hike east of Molalla in the Table Rock area.

Both 16-year-old Bradley Nelson and 17-year-old Jackson Chandler are students at West Linn High School.

Chandler’s car was found five miles east of the Table Rock trail head.

The two went for a day hike. Parents called for help when they did not return home.

Nate Thompson with the sheriff’s office told KGW both teens are experienced hikers but had never been to that particular trail before. Both are Boy Scouts and one is an Eagle Scout.

The search involves more than four-dozen volunteers with search organizations.
