Some Oregonians in Boston are eager for things to get back to normal.

Narintohn Luangrath is a junior at Boston College.

She spent the day cooped up in her dorm, watching movies and the news to keep up on the search for a bombing suspect.

She says that while the ‘shelter-in-place’ request has been dropped — and mass transit is running again — she’s staying put.

“I’m pretty grateful that the staff on campus have been really good at getting us food and watching out and so I feel like we’re pretty safe around here, but no plans on going out tonight.”

Luangrath is originally from Tigard. She’s studying political science and international studies.
