A suspect has been arrested in the weekend shooting at a Portland strip club that killed one man and wounded four other people.

Police say a U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force with local police and deputies arrested 27-year-old Jontae Mixon Wednesday night on charges including assault and attempted murder.

Police say the shooting in the parking lot at Soobie’s Bar and Grill strip club early Saturday was gang-related.

One man, 26-year-old Hahrahcio Roy Branch, died of his wounds at a hospital. Four other victims are recovering.

Mayor Charlie Hales released a statement Wednesday calling gun violence a public safety and health crisis.
