A tree thought to be the one stolen from Portland's famously tiny park has re-appeared.
Earlier this week, the tree disappeared from Mill Ends Park, said to be the world's smallest park.
It's in the median of Portland's Naito Parkway, near the waterfront.
Friday, Mark Ross with Portland's Parks and Recreation department said the small tree was apparently returned. It was lying on its side, roots and all.
The city plans to evaluate it, and if it's healthy, plant it elsewhere.
The city had already planted another tree in the center of the tiny park.
