A tornado touched down outside Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon, destroying two barns and damaging two others, according to the Lebanon Fire District.
Fire and emergency crews responded the area of Green Mountain Drive in Lacomb, 10 miles northeast of Lebanon, shortly before 1:30 p.m. after reports of a funnel cloud at Spencer’s Dairy Farm.
When a funnel cloud touches the ground, it becomes a tornado, according to the glossary of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
No one was injured, and no nearby homes were damaged, according to the fire district. No livestock were injured.
