Oregon’s football team now has a serious depth problem at quarterback.

Travis Jonsen, a redshirt sophomore quarterback, is leaving the Ducks’ program, according to a report Monday by Comcast Sports reporter Aaron Fentress.

Jonsen is the second quarterback to leave the program since the beginning of spring practices, joining redshirt freshman Terry Wilson.

The Ducks are essentially left with two quarterbacks in the program — sophomore Justin Herbert and true freshman Braxton Burmeister. Oregon also has senior Taylor Alie, who has played quarterback in the past but mostly was used at wide receiver in the spring.
