One Inmate Captured, One Still At Large After Escaping Work Detail At Clark County Gun Range

UPDATE: Police captured one of the inmates late Tuesday night who escaped from Larch Corrections Center in southwest Washington.

Donald William McCain was found heading back towards the prison facility, about six miles from where corrections officers had last seen him.

"A citizen saw him crossing their yard and they called 911," said Danette Gadberry, public information officer for Larch Corrections Center.

Police are still searching for Randall Jacob Marlow.

Two inmates are missing from the Larch Corrections Center in southwest Washington.

Law enforcement officers are currently searching for 33 year-old Donald William McCain and 44 year-old Randall Jacob Marlow. Both men are white with tattoos. They were last seeing wearing tan pans and red T-shirts.

According to Facilities Superintendent Dona Zavislan, the inmates went missing around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. They were trimming bushes and clearing brush at Clark Rifles Range - a shooting range - near Hockinson, Washington.

The inmates are serving time for forgery, property crimes, theft and drug violations.

Larch Corrections Center is minimum security about 20 miles north of Vancouver. It has a capacity of 480 men.

Corrections officials say don’t approach the men. Anyone with information about the escaped inmates is encouraged to call 9-1-1.
