A viral outbreak that sickened more than 200 people at a White City Veterans Affairs facility has subsided.
The Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics east of Medford is reopening Thursday after restricting access since last week.
A highly contagious norovirus caused diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps for 156 patients and 64 staff members.
The Daily Courier reports 17 people were treated at hospitals for dehydration.
The facility formerly known as the VA Domiciliary is stressing hand washing to help control the norovirus.
