The Washington state Liquor Control Board will hold another live auction for the rights to six state liquor stores.

It's the third auction of state liquor stores since Washington voters approved Initiative 1183 privatizing liquor sales.

The top bidders for the remaining six stores failed to pay their winning bid and sacrificed their deposits after the first live auction. The six stores are located in Seattle, Kent, Bellevue, Bellingham, Ocean Shores and Kennewick.

Successful bidders will win the exclusive right to apply for a liquor license at the current location within its current footprint. The auction will be held June 28 at the board's distribution center in Seattle. A bid deposit of $25,000 will be required.
