A quick share the projects that have made it over the latest hurdle in the state Business Energy Tax Credit program for a share of $10 million in tax credits. They still have to go through a technical review. But I thought the list was interesting. They’re the top tier projects – worth $6 million or more – and they’ve been narrowed from a list of 16 applicants to these five. The companies are going through the new BETC approval process. The state Legislature scaled back the BETC program last year following criticism that the state had given out too much money – particularly for commercial wind energy projects.
