A new protection deal for 60 Northwest species

Today, the Obama administration struck a deal with environmentalists to tackle by 2018 the backlog of 757 species in line for protection under the Endangered Species Act. That includes 60 in the Northwest including the (recently discovered in Oregon) wolverine:
