The California Department of Fish and Game released a map today showing the path of Oregon’s lone wolf OR-7 since it left Oregon and headed into the Cascade Range of Northern California.

To protect the wolf’s safety, the agency is delaying the radio-collar’s locations on the map.

The most recent map puts OR-7 about 35 miles south of Alturas, Calif., heading toward Nevada.

You can follow the wolf’s footsteps through this California Department of Fish and Game website.
