NPR asked all its followers to describe President Obama's State of the Union speech in three words. Then, using Wordle, NPR built this word cloud of the most common responses. Surprise! State of the Union: 5 science, environment targets
So, President Obama didn't bring up global warming or climate change in his State of the Union speech. That wasn't a big surprise, though some were still disappointed. He did give a nod to several environmental issues, including clean energy, electric vehicles, biofuels, cutting oil subsidies, and high-speed rail. Continue reading →
