A crackdown on enforcement of bike transportation laws in New York City led to lots of unhappy cyclists and a funny video about how the city isn’t ticketing people who obstruct bike lanes.
The video was made after a big push by WNYC to collect information on where New York cyclists were getting tickets. The crowd-sourcing effort allowed transportation reporter Alex Goldmark to build a Google map of a city-wide crackdown on rogue cycling. Time for a crowd-sourced map of bike lane obstructions?
